I need help with my CB 8.0 program. Even if I reinstall it from its original CD, I can't use the engines except the Crafty. I'm an owner of CB 9.0, CB 11.00, Houdine 4.0 Pro, Fritz 13.0 with many engines, but I prefer CB 8.0 for my work. I'm using Windows 7 and I want to use different engines with this program. Could you provide an engine file for installing and/or selecting new engines?

Unfortunately, ChessBase 8.0 is not fully compatible with Windows 7 platforms. Even if you can run it on your PC, you will not be able to use all its functions and features. In order to fix it, I suggest you try the Windows 7 Compatibility Mode. Right-click on the ChessBase launcher, select Properties and navigate to the Compatibility tab. Check Run this program in compatibility mode for box, select a compatible platform from the drop-down list and click OK. If this doesn't help, you will need to use ChessBase 11.0 because there isn't an engine file available for downloading. I suggest you contact the developer for further information.
